Nellie , Fallon   and two of the boys from Summer's litter Dash and Luger have had a good start in the show ring   . They have won many Best puppy in Breed awards at Championship shows .

Fallon won Best puppy in show at The Leonberger club of GB open show , Nellie won her class and Dash won his class only to then be beaten by Fallon for Best puppy in Show .

Summer won another CC at Blackpool Championship show and then another the following week at Windsor . She is now the Bitch CC record holder !!  She also won another Res CC at Darlington Championship show

Luger won Best puppy in Breed at East of England Championship show

Dash won Best puppy in Breed at W&PBA beating Fallon who won Best puppy Bitch

Fallon won Best puppy in Breed at Driffield Championship show

 Summer gave birth to 10 beautiful puppies on October 30th , they all left for their new homes just after Christmas and into the New Year . We kept 2 girls Nellie and Fallon . I will add their own pages soon .

 Well a lot has happened since the last update ....here goes

 Firstly  my Thanks go to Darren Spencer who created this website and has done all the updating for me , I have now taken over the website and hope to add new photo's and news on a regular basis .  

The start of 2010 was a very sad time for us as we had to say Goodbye to our beautiful girl Paris , she would have been 10 years old in May .  We were heartbroken to let her go but it was the kindest  thing for her. We still miss her so much . Paris was a very funny girl who didn't like thunder ,fireworks or anything out of the ordinary ...hence why we've been having a new kitchen for the last 10 years !! Every time we'd discuss starting the work i say '' Paris will hate it'' and the work never got started .It makes me feel sad to think we could now go ahead as all the other dogs would cope with the chaos ..Maybe next year ......

We were just coming to terms with the loss of Paris when in April we had to let our Darling Darcy go over to Rainbow Bridge . She was the first Leo Alex and i had owned together . It was such a shock for us , even though she was nearly 11 years old she was doing so well . We were absolutely devastated  , she was a huge character in the house , a real talker and would start everyone off 'singing' in the mornings . I so miss hearing them 'sing' in the early hours ... The house felt so different  , even with 6 dogs it felt empty almost .

Then in June more heartache came . We had to say goodbye to Dudley our 16 year old Collie x . She adored Darcy and looking back her spark went when Darcy left us . She had a fabulous life and kept all the Leo's in check . To lose 3 dogs in 6 months was just too much . I even thought i would have no more as i couldn't cope with the pain and heartache of having to let them go . Rest in peace my beautiful babies xxxxxxx

Summer has had a very successful show season again , she finished 2009 as TOP WINNING BITCH in the breed  winning 6 more CC's  and 2 Res CC's!!!

She won 3 more CC's and another Res CC in 2010 and is now equal BITCH CC  RECORD HOLDER !!! Having won 12 CC's to date . She retired from the show ring in July and was  mated to Lanta ( the breed record holder , who has won an impressive 25 CC's  ) at the end of August .

The LCGB Open show was held on Sunday April 5th. Summer was Best Bitch and Res Best in Show!!!

We have a litter born Feb 21st, see litters page for details.

'Luna' who went to live in Germany has had her hips scored. A fantastic result 0:0 A1

Summer hip score is Hips 2 : 4 Elbows 0 : 0.

We are planning a litter from Summer towards the end of 2009. We already have a reservation list for this litter.

Cairo has passed his B Test at water training, he will try for his C Test in October.

Thaila and Summer have both had their eyes tested, both all clear.

Thaila is due in season in the next couple of weeks, we plan to mate her on this season.

Shadow (Mr Green) is now a PAT dog, Well done to Merle who has qualified all 4 of her Leo's as PAT dogs.

Summer won her 3rd and most important CC at Midland Counties Championship show!!!

She is now a Champion at just 20 months old!!

The Stormchaser's had a great day with Cairo winning the Yearling class, Beluga the post graduate class, Tarn the Limit class and the Res CC and Cruz 2nd in Limit.

My Thanks go to Peter Jolley who was the judge on the day.

Peter was the very first judge to award Leonbergers CC's in 2002 at CRUFTS.

His Bitch CC winner and Best of Breed was Summer and Tarn's Grandmother .... Nabilah Nerasha Von Welland the Stormchaser...'Storm' who at nearly 12 years old, is still going strong.

July 2008

Summer wins her 2nd CC and BEST OF BREED!!! at the South Wales Championship show.
She is the youngest Leonberger in England to win a CC , she now has 2 CC's and is only 17 months old!!

Winning her class at the show also gave her the final point she needed for her Junior Warrant Title!!

After winning Best Bitch at Three Counties last week, Summer wins another Best Bitch and the Bitch CC at Blackpool!!!

Summer wins BEST PUPPY IN BREED at Crufts 2008 !!!!

Flame 'Stormchaser Zhivago's Love' wins the Res CC.

'Summer' ended the year going Best Puppy in Breed at LKA.

A great start to her showing career winning 3 Best Puppy in Breed, 1 Best Puppy bitch in show and 1 Best Bitch. All at Championship shows.

Lyn's puppy, Tomba ( Stormchaser Ta Pinu J.W. Anw.Dt.Ju.Ch.Klub ) was entered at 19 shows as a puppy from which he won 11 Best Puppy awards, 4 at Ch shows, two at CC. Ch shows.
He won twelve group places including 7 x Puppy Group 1's and adult G1.
From these shows he also went on to win a record breaking six Best Puppy in Shows.. three
of them within one week and gained his Junior Warrant at just eleven months.. the youngest Leonberger to do this (breaking his mother Flame's previous record of gaining her JW at twelve months).
He won Best Puppy in Show and Res Best Male at the LCGB Open show at just ten months of age.
Tomba has qualified for the East Anglia Supermatch ( three times over ! ) and for the Kent Supermatch both to be held in early 2008.
Tomba is the fourth generation of Top Winning Leos... his great Grandmother, Nora won Best in Show at the German Club show. His grandmother Storm was Top Leonberger of 2001 and won Best in Show at the LCGB show and was the first BOB at Crufts with CC's and his mother Flame is the first and only Ch Leonberger in GB to have gained all three titles.

LEONBERGER CLUB OF GB CHAMPIONSHIP SHOW.

'Summer' won 1st place in the Minor puppy class (10 present) and then went on to win Best puppy Bitch in show!!

'Thaila' gained VHC in a large Limit class (16 present)

'Cairo' (Mr Red) got reserve in the Minor puppy dog class

October 7th 2007

Bailey (Mr Yellow) passed his A test at water rescue today.

Flame (CH Stormchaser Zhivagos Love JW SHCM) also passed her A test today.

The water training is finishing for the winter months and will start again next summer where Cairo, Bailey and Flame will all train for their B tests.

DRIFFIELD CHAMPIONSHIP SHOW.
Summer gained a 1st place in Puppy Bitch, then went on to win BEST PUPPY and BEST BITCH in Breed !!!!!!

DARLINGTON CHAMPIONSHIP SHOW.
Summer gained another 2nd in the Minor Puppy Class.

Sept 13th 2007

CITY OF BIRMINGHAM CHAMPIONSHIP SHOW.
Summer competed at her 2nd Championship show on September 1st, She got another 2nd (7 present) in the puppy bitch class.

Luna competed at her 1st show in Luxembourg and gained a VV2 'Very promising 2'

THE WELSH KENNEL CLUB CHAMPIONSHIP SHOW.

Summer went to her 1st Championship show in Wales on Aug 18th. She was in the Puppy Bitch class, there were 7 puppies present and Summer came 2nd!!!!! So she has qualified for Crufts 2008 on her first outing.

Cairo (Mr Red) passed his A test at water rescue at just over 6 months old, both he and Bailey (Mr Yellow) attend water training during the summer months.

THE LEONBERGER CLUB OF GB OPEN SHOW.

We went to the club open show at Digswell yesterday with Darcy,Paris and Summer.

Paris won the Veteran bitch class, she was handled by our friend Pam who owns Layla's Brother 'Cruz', who also won his class, Darcy taking 2nd in Veteran. Then they both competed in the Brace class....... Which we won so they were Best Brace in Show!!!

Bailey and Cairo came to the show, it was the first time i had seen them since they left here as 9 week old puppies. They are both looking beautiful and met their daddy 'Zak' who won Best Dog and Best opposite sex at the show.

'Stormchaser Ta pinu' bred by Lyn, won 1st in Puppy Dog, Res Best Dog in Show and Best Puppy in Show.

We had a great day, meeting the puppies again and then with all our wins !!

The Puppies are all leaving for their new homes, i will add some new pages with pictures of them with their new families.

Mar 1st Thaila's puppies are now registered with the Kennel club, all the paperwork has come back and we have all the names we wanted.

Thaila's puppies have arrived, they were born on January 30th.
4 Boys and 2 Girls . Thaila is a super Mum and all her babies are doing very well.

We all went along to The Leonberger Club of Great Britain 5th Championship show on Oct 22nd. What a day!!!

We arrived late with Darcy's Veteran class already being judged!! We were allowed to enter the ring and to my absolute shock and delight we won 1st place.

There were some Beautiful girls in her class who I have admired in the show ring.

Thaila came 5th in her limit class out of a large entry.

Paris was in the open class, she won 1st place!!!!

We then had to go into the Challenge, Paris won the Res CC and Darcy went on to win Best Veteran in Show!!!!!
